Daecheong Lake Nature Ecology Museum 'The Time of the Wave'

대청호가 형성되면서 물 아래로 사라진 마을과 그 곳에 살던 사람들의 삶, 그리고 그 이후에 자리 잡은 생태의 시간을 하루의 흐름으로 풀어낸 '물결이 품은 시간' 미디어 아트 콘텐츠를 제작하였습니다.

아침에는 아직 물에 잠기기 전 마을의 평화로운 풍경과 점점 차오르는 물을 통해 대청호의 탄생과 수몰의 역사를 조용히 떠올리게 하고,

낮에는 억새밭과 숲, 수면 위 생명들이 만들어내는 지금의 풍경을 담담하게 보여줍니다.

밤이 되면 반딧불이와 대청호 주변에 서식하는 동물들의 흔적이 등장하며, 호수가 품고 있는 상처와 회복, 그리고 자연의 리듬을 함께 느끼도록 구성하였습니다.

We created “The Time Held by Waves,” a media art piece that translates the history of Daecheong Lake—
its submerged villages, the lives once lived there, and the ecosystem that later took root—into the passage of a single day.
In the morning, scenes of the village before it is flooded and the slowly rising water quietly recall the lake’s origin and the story of loss.
Daytime gently shifts the focus to the present landscape of reeds, forests, and life moving across the water.
By night, fireflies and traces of native wildlife appear, inviting viewers to feel both the wound and the recovery held within the lake’s natural rhythm.
